LET US ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS.
When choosing a summer camp for yourself or your teenager you can end up with a lot of questions. We attempt to cover many of those right here. If you have any questions that we don't cover, you can reach out to us via email where you can ask us anything you want.
WHAT IS THE COST?
The early bird price of $199 covers all food, housing and access to top quality training, until June 1st. Regular admission is $225 until start day of the event. Camp fees and all paperwork is due two weeks prior to camp (June 27th), unless you register after this date..
ARE THERE FAMILY DISCOUNTS?
Yes. Every additional camper coming from the same family gets a $15 discount (one $15 discount per 2 students). Please make sure to mention this discount when you pay so that discount can be taken.
WHAT IS THE AGE RANGE?
Junior and senior high (ages 12-18).
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
Plan to bring all the personal care and clothing items that you'll need for five days away from home. Bring an extra changes of clothes, a sleeping bag and pillow, your instrument, and definitely a Bible and journal. We will be playing some water games in the evenings, so make sure to bring clothes you can get wet in. The official NEWC packing list can be found at the link below.
WHAT SHOULD I NOT BRING?
Don't bring any illegal substances or weapons of any kind. Also, your cell phones and other electronic devices are not needed. You can bring them, but they will be collected at the beginning of each day and handed back in the evening. This helps us provide you with a more immersive experience.
WHERE WILL CAMPERS STAY?
NEWC provides a unique housing experience by placing groups of campers together in host homes. Each host home is provided by a family from one of our host churches. Every host family has gone through a background check and interview process before earning the privilege of hosting our campers.
We will do our best to accomodate housing requests, but it is not always possible. You may only request one camper to house with. All housing requests must be submitted by June 27th. Due to coordinating with host families and last minute preparations, we are unable to consider any requests made after this date.
WILL THE FOOD BE GOOD?
Definitely! Your host homes will provide you with breakfast every morning. Lunch and dinner will be a variety of delicious home-made and catered meals. You won't be eating camp cafeteria food here.
WILL THERE BE FUN ACTIVITIES?
Absolutely! While we bring campers a deep spiritual encounter with God and top notch training, we are also a camp designed to bring some fun and excitement to your summer. Expect evening activities, large group competitions, and late night hang outs. You won't be able to avoid the fun!
WHERE IS THE CAMP LOCATED?
