NEWC 2016
North East Worship Camp launches it's first worship-focused summer camp experience at New Hope Fellowship in Bloomfield, NY, under the direction and leadership of Jeff Parshall (NHF Worship Pastor) and Zack Hensley (NHF Senior Pastor). NEWC welcomes special guest speakers and worship leaders from various churches in the region, including Caleb and Rachel Culver, Brad Kahler, Josiah and Laura Travis, and Denis Johnson. NEWC 2018 welcomes special guest speakers and worship leaders: Jonas Cortez, Danielle Douglas, Shaun and Jenna Murray, Crisanna Rothfuss, Jen Brady Waldridge, and Ben Longabaugh from the Rochester area, (returning guests) Caleb and Rachel Culver from Kalamazoo, Michigan, and Lauren and Kendrian Dueck from the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, Missouri. NEWC continues to see steady growth, nearly doubling in size by NEWC 2019. In 2019, NEWC borders maximum capacity, hosting nearly 80 campers and over 30 staff members and volunteers. NEWC 2019 welcomes special guest speakers and worship leaders: Joan Wood, LaShanda and Terrence McCadney, Ryan Internicola, and Jessica Freda from various churches in the northeast, and welcomes back special guests: Caleb and Rachel Culver from Kalamazoo, Michigan, and Lauren and Kendrian Dueck from Kansas City, Missouri. In 2020, NEWC temporarily moves to an online platform, celebrating its 5th anniversary with online worship, small groups, and worship training workshops. Even online, NEWC was able to welcome special guest speakers and worship leaders from various churches in the region and abroad, including Ron and Valerie Sykes, and (returning guests) LaShanda and Terrence McCadney from the Rochester area, and (returning guests) Caleb and Rachel Culver from Kalamazoo, Michigan. Although NEWC ONLINE was successful, NEWC was happy to return to New Hope Fellowship in 2021 for an in-person camp once again. July 15-17, 2020 Online Platform NEWC 2021
NEWC returns to an in-person summer camp experience at New Hope Fellowship under new leadership. New Hope Fellowship's Christa Burket (Youth Director) and Ryan Internicola (Senior Pastor) become Co-Directors of NEWC. NEWC 2021 welcomes special guest speakers and worship leaders: Christian Kent, Holly Kluge, and People on a Hill from the Rochester area. Northeast Worship Camp continues to see steady growth reaching pre-covid numbers with 74 students! Elim Life Church in Lima, New York, continues to host us with EBC housing the campers for the week. Special guest speakers and worship leaders from the Rochester area include Brad Kahler, Jeff Parshall, and Jess Freda. After 9 amazing years being on the directors team for this camp (4 of which she was executive director) we all said goodbye to Christa Burket as she finished out this year as her last! Northeast worship camp's 10 year anniversary and Alex Kent's first year as executive director. The biggest year yet, hitting our max of 75 campers. Elim Life Church in Lima, New York, continues to host with EBC housing the campers for the week. Our speakers this year included, Jeff Parshall, Alex Seidler, Jessica Freda, and Brad Kahler. Wednesday night we hosted a 10 year celebration with a worship team full of campers from the very first year of camp, and heard from our own Jeff Parshall! JEFF parshall // Radiant ChurchJeff is a worship leader and speaker who ministers with a passion for people to genuinely encounter and be transformed by the power of Jesus. Jeff served many years as the Worship Pastor at New Hope Fellowship in Bloomfield, NY, where he longed to hold a worship training camp that would gather the next generation of worshipers, and equip them for a powerful move of God in the northeast pioneered by worship and prayer. Following the Lord's leading, Jeff organized a team and launched the first year of Northeast Worship Camp in 2016. In addition to NEWC, Jeff founded a traveling worship ministry, New Hope New York Music, and co-wrote the album "Praise Arise," which reached #18 on iTunes music Christian and Gospel Charts in 2017. Jeff's years of experience as a worship leader combined with his passion and heart for the next generation has been foundational to the existence of NEWC. Jeff is a incredible worship leader, teacher, and speaker, and NEWC is honored to have him as a founding "father" to the ministry. Jeff continues to bring passion, wisdom, and encouragement to our team, and serves as a pillar of worship in our community.

zack hensleyZack is a pastor and teacher passionate about seeing revival come to the northeast, which is what brought him and his family to Bloomfield, New York, from Kansas City, Missouri. Zack served as the Senior Pastor at New Hope Fellowship (Bloomfield, NY) for several years, during which time he partnered with Jeff Parshall to launch North East Worship Camp. His passion for revival in the northeast is foundational to the impact and success the ministry of NEWC has had and continues to have on young people in our region.
